Completing a Lease

When you rent of commercial premises, you will legally ‘complete’ a lease.

Your Brief

The first step in the process is to agree your proposed brief, which includes the area in which you are looking, the desired specification and budget.

If your expectations are unrealistic, we will suggest alternative locations, which more closely match the brief.

Viewing Premises

Once your AML has arrived and we are formally instructed by you, we will provide you with options that meet the brief and arrange inspections at a mutually agreeable time.

Making an Offer

Having identified the best option for you, we will draft an in-depth proposal and run through it with you in order to ensure that you fully understand what is being proposed. Upon your instructions, we will send the proposal, along with your recent accounts.

Heads of Terms

Having completed the negotiation, Heads of Terms are drawn up and issued to the solicitors for both sides.
