Buying Business Premises
Depending on your circumstances, your business and the state of the market, it might make sense to purchase your own premises.
Commercial property advice tailored to your situation
Once appointed as your property consultant, we are able to advise you on suitable areas, properties and pricing.
It may be that in the early stages of your search, the decision whether to rent or buy is not clear cut until a few properties have been inspected and the relative merits of the two options become clearer.
Buying premises for established clients
The perpetual scarcity of business premises suitable for purchase by individual business owners means that there is usually a need to act promptly and decisively when a site becomes available.
For that reason, we have had a few occasions where properties have come to the market and have offered them to our existing clients where we know it is suitable and where the trust that has been built up over a number of years means that they are able to act promptly.
Our showroom purchase for Gresham is a good example – we acquired their first rental premises in London, later conducted a rent review for them and then a few years later when we heard of a purchase opportunity we let them know and they took it. The showroom was occupied by another furniture business who became Gresham’s tenant until the lease ended; at this point they occupy the the premises themselves.
